I’m actually on-board with this one. The most time by far that my machine spends with a spinning beachball is while Adobe Flash tries to do something. Most of the time it will eventually do it, but occasionally it will crash or worse still take out the whole browser with it.

I for one welcome Flash’s impending demise. As @cageyjames put it:

“I personally consider the lack of flash on the iPhone a feature. Doesn’t bother me flash ads don’t load on websites one bit.”

As for the Google comments (remember, this is all allegedly true, which these days means probably), bring on the competition. It can only make our experience better.
