Since Haloscan don’t seem to be able/willing to help me keep my comments working *and* keep my existing comments (even though technically it was a change made quietly by Tumblr that caused the disconnect), I’m going to try out Disqus.

Disqus is what the team at Mobogic uses. Many other places use it too of course, but that’s how I found them. They seem to work well, and they at least have an Import comments button (even if it says “coming soon”).

Let me know if you have any particular (especially philosophical) objections to the move. It’s not like Haloscan were going to let me show that there were comments *and* keep my comments.

Update: When I have time, I’ll try to get the comments working in-line in the page rather than requiring extra clicks to jump to another page first.
