Further to my last post where I said I’d actually like to head over to Hobbymasters (I spied a TAMIYA monster truck behind Charlie), I found this at the Tamiya site.
I built this car from scratch. It taught me about engine bearings, differential, linked suspension, torque, and driving like a nutjob. It also taught me that molybdenum grease will get everywhere in an effort to do its job. The car is still in one piece on top of the spare-room closet in Cambridge. The suspension probably needs a top up of dampening fluid and some new seals.
Oh oh! There’s a PDF manual for those with a nostalgic bent.
They’ve re-released the Boomerang too (which Ali Bowyer had), and for Aaron, the Subaru Impreza which we all wanted but no-one could ever afford.
