![Pointless, but amusing. It’s unclear whether the Jude-Lawesque¹ androgyny is deliberate, and if it is I’m then not sure whether to find it offensive.
I think English men ceased to represent the dandy sometime in the 70s. Note: Adam Ant is not what I’m talking about - that’s Punk Dandy, a totally different thing. Dandy Warhols aren’t English, Dandy, or good enough to use the name Warhol. My thanks to Dr. R for the below present a few years ago.
Then again, I point you to the Sherman Foundation’s recent find of Social Suicide (there’s an iTunes link to a video about them - they’re either very deadpan funny, or London tossers, or they could be both).
