Google Earth 5 was released today. Everyone’s talking about it. TUAW, Gizmodo, BBC, even Nixta Rolls. There’s a good write-up at Ogle Earth so I won’t bother duplicating that.
It covers the oceans, and Mars in addition to the great stuff it already did. We do indeed continue to live in the future. If ever anything good came from ridiculously inflated worth through the stock market and it’s goonery, it’s Google’s strength.
But as the video above shows, the brilliant Historical Data still needs a little work…
